no you dont i have been using neighborhood for a long time and not once used VS to open it
You need it installed on your computer.
i do have it installed and VS doesnt do anything for it to open
visual studio comes with a computer which when u reset it doesnt, it has to be visual studio 2010 and then install XDK after visual studio but when installing XDK do the full install instead of the small one
wont give me option to do FULL but im re installing VS 2010

Bruh, get the latest .net framework.
That may be your issue.
If not, you may have a bogus install copy.
Try reinstalling it but before you do, right click the installer and go to properties.
Check to see if it's blocked.
Then reinstall.
