It seems everyone that makes fun of Alienware are the people who can't afford it, because the only argument they can make is that you can build a gaming PC for a cheaper amount.

Well guess what fellas, not everyone is broke, and doesn't have to build a cheap PC. Some people like to buy nice sturdy gaming machines that are pre-built. Alienware delivers in that department. They have the best hardware on the market (should you choose to get the best) and they're flashy.

Although I can't afford a Bugatti, the next time I see one I'll make sure to tell the owner he could have built his own car for a cheaper amount.

i just feel like they are over priced for what you get, i could build a gaming pc that is just as good for half the price...its not that they dont perform, they just cost to much for what you get...

I've personally bought an alienware 17 for my sister, while it's an impressive machine, it's (imo) way overpriced, i have zero customer support, and it has a lot of flashy colors and whatnot, so, i don't HATE alienware, but it's like buying a pair of BEATS headphones just because football players wear them, it's a name brand, nothing more.

I agree that Alienware is overpriced and you can build a better PC for less. But when my friend brought his over my house once I thought the looks were awesome (Much better then my tower with a black case) and the design was great. The graphics were amazing (Yes theres better) but i think its much more of a showoff piece. I would personally never buy one, because of the price, but if i could i would.

That's a retarted argument. I recently built a (roughly) $4300 computer. I could have afforded any computer Alienware offers. But why would I? Why spend more when my new computer is better than anything they offer.
