Something like a Honda S2000 is cheap and sporty. Very nice car!

In the UK here you can pick a few cheap ones up for around 3-4k tbh.

But just checked again and actually the majority are like 6-12k :/

240 sx, s14 or s13's are very fun cars.

A mazda miata is very underrated, its not very fast, buts is very fun to drive in turns and corners.

300zx are also very underrated, if you can find a TT one for sure get it.

Datsun 280z is a bit older, but also very legendary and also fun to drive, but since its old, dont be surprised if things break

Eagle Talon, Mitsubishi Eclipse GST/GSX (very cheap!), even Mustang GTs from the early 2000s go for like 3-5k
