i need help getting the scratches of my Xbox game ive tried toothpaste and water please help me

You can buff the scratches. I think some game stores actually offer this service depending on where you live. Not sure about gamestop though.

well i went into eb games/Australian version of gamestop and they said they stopped doing it for years

You could buy the machine to do it but it wouldn't really be worth it for a disc or two. You could try the toothpaste thing again. The way I did it for my MW2 back in the day was leave the toothpaste on over night but that might not actually do anything extra.

The toothpaste method usually works for mild scratches for me.

I used to find another copy of the game (borrow it from a friend), install it to my hard drive and then my scratched copy would work because it loads the content from the drive and not the CD.

Yeah I used this same method and it helped me out luckily.. Sometimes you might need to get it buffed that's what I usually do it's like $3..

Any big games for me the first thing i do is install it to my HDD, I am lso careful with the disks to ensure they dont get scratched!

This is by far the best method. You can also just go to an EB Games (since youre in Australia), buy the game pre-owned, and then return it for a full refund after you install it.
