Fairly pricey build.

Forgot the link like a dumbass [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

If theres any places I can cheapen it down and get the exact same worth (excluding video card, CPU, CPU Cooler, Motherboard, OS, and Custom Parts.)

Please rate out of 10 with 10 being a completely terrific build, and 0 being complete crap build.

Special thanks too all of the people that helped me make this build what it is today <3 Special thanks to Sanctorum and Xigma

I'd get this instead;

No need to spend that much on an R9 280X, don't bother with a Razer keyboard, they're overpriced. With the money saved, you get a much better CPU cooler. You could also save money by getting your OS for free instead which would give you more money to spend on a better GPU. The difference between 1ms and 2ms is next to nothing, you're hardly going to notice it so you could save a little more money on monitors. You're also not going to need a full sized case, a mid sized ATX case would be fine for you. That case is also pretty ugly, especially in that colour.

So how do I get the OS for free? I've heard this so much but factually. I cannot figure it out for the life of me.

Google it. It's not hard. I can't help you with it as it's against site rules and I don't fancy a warning for it.

Search "Windows for free" or something along those lines. If you can't find anything, switch to YouTube and search the same thing.

What would be the upgrade from the 280x? the 290? Or is it worth it?

GTX 770 slightly out-performs the 280x. R9 290 is even better and at a pretty good price right now. Definitely worth it, if you can get the extra moolah for one.

I downgraded my case. I love the phantom series too much to get rid of it though. Got the NZXT 240 Mid-Tower. Been having trouble finding good monitors. Those monitors that I have selected have an 80,000,000:1 Contrast ratio (Hell yes) with speakers, HDMI inputs, a low response rate, and 1920 x 1080 aspect ratio.

Updated the build! Just use the same link!

If you have a better case that is sleek looking, got some good designs, and is similar to the Phantom but is cheaper. Please feel free to tell me <3

Pretty much the same;

Seriously though, don't get a Razer keyboard. Get the CM xornet instead of the inferno. If you want the Razer keyboard purely for the 'flashingl ights', don't get it. There are many other, better keyboards out there with nice LEDs and still cost less than that Razer junk. If you get the OS for free, use the extra &90 for a larger SSD.

I want the razor keyboard because of the macro keys, the nice mechanical clicker keys. I love them. The SSD is solely for the OS. I'm not looking for anything more. Just the OS and maybe my recording program so its reduces the read and write load on the HDD. Trust me for what i'm doing 64GB will most likely be more than enough.

There is also no way I can get Windows 8. So it has to stay there. Like I said if you can cheapen the case but it's still sleek and glossy with a side window. Please go right ahead.
