I have everything hooked up right and I have updated my controller multiple times. My mic works on 360 still and I even tested the adapter with my regular xbox 360 mic. It worked, but my turtle beach headset isn't. Any tips?

We'll I need to know what turtle beaches is it. And are you trying to hear both sound and chat?

Yeah what kind of turtle beaches are they some aren't compatible.

Nevermind. Apparently the side USB, isn't actually a usb. I plugged them into the back and it works fine.

The microsoft adapter that plugs into the controller can't be max volume on chat/game volume as the cancel each other out. it is just a weird way microsoft did that. the side usb on the console is a usb.

Well not using that fixed it so, I don't know. Doesn't matter though. This topics old anyways.
