Hello! I'm majoring in Business Administration and would like you to understand a few things but I understand your anger here I've been in the same place...

Management has a chain of people over them doing the exact same thing they're doing to you... barking orders and demanding more than whats possible. The company has no choice but to do as their bosses bosses boss of their bosses boss says to do because... well Wal-Mart is the number one retail employer. Overnight should actually start at $10+ but as I live in their homeoffice state I would bet the pay is better because of the fact that they're able to monitor their home state stores better than out of state... But I've been in your position and I know how it feels to have your meeting at 10pm and walk to your area of work for that night only to find you're by yourself and have 10 pallets to do. Well, your old store manager should have a goal for you and that goal should have been 4 pallets minimum. If you need help then I can assure you that asking your Support Manager or overnight AST Manager for a helping hand will work... I'm guessing since then you've quit and I'm sorry to hear that because you're missing out on a company that pays out big bucks every quarter if you're an overnight stocker.

Hope I've helped and best of luck to you!

Sorry you feel that way. I know the company has many opportunities that many fail to take advantage of and for some people it's not their fault and for others they want to sit on their butt and get paid but thats not how a job works!

Well this is 99% of major chains. They offer a lot of jobs to the communities that they are located but they take advantage of their workers. They have been sued many times for this and nothing is going to change. To offer the cheapest price, to drive in more customers, they need to pay minimum wage and buy everything made in china. In nearly every major retailer, Target, Sears, etc; they all work the same way. It sucks but that just how most people pay the bills, one paycheck at a time.

The majority of people that work at Walmart suck at their job. There has been numerous times I have asked a questions to the employees their and none of them have no clue what or where anything is.

That is how I feel with Giant. I make $8/hr and they cut my hours terribly. I just quit and now starting to work at Sheetz.
