You can't really compare Bugatti to Lamborghini, they are totally different types of car.
Ferrari vs Lamborghini vs McLaren (All make Hyper & Supercars)
or Bugatti vs Koenigsegg vs Hennessey (All make 260+mph Hypercars)

Lamborghini. Bugatti's are ugly
I don't really like fords other than the older mustangs and I only like chevy for corvettes not to mention chevy's are constantly getting recalled. When it comes to trucks though ford

Don't like Lamborghini or Bugatti's.
Would take Chevy over Ford simply because I don't like a single vehicle from Ford.

They're rather different cars, so it's a tough call. The fact that VW makes Bugatti has no bearing on resale value by the way. It's a $2 million car. You aren't going to be very concerned about resale, and durability is not a word associated with the Veyron. I suppose based on looks, I'd get the Aventador, but with pure speed and awesomeness, I'd get the Bugatti.
Both have their good and bad points. If maintained properly & not driven insanely both will serve you well. It really comes down to personal preference. for those who actually work on their own vehicles they might not go to Chevrolet. In most cases anyway...but with proper maintenance & sensible driving both will serve well...at least until the warranty expires.
