Hey,

I just unboxed my Slim RGH, set it up and turned it on. The problem is when I boot it up it boots normally in to the Xbox Loading screen but then black screens and says "System Error. Contact Xbox Customer Support."

How do I fix this? If it helps I bought my console from Sala Mods.

Is there any error codes? Or is it just simply that message?

can you give us a pic/vid of what happens? Would help a lot

If you are able to, try booting without the HDD in (although I doubt that is the error)

What error do you get when it goes to the black screen?

Yeah I was thinking it could of been the HDD, it has happened to my brother on his RGH and it booted fine without the Hard drive in.

!!! That was it! I removed the HDD and booted, it worked fine, but now what do I do? How am I supposed to play without a HDD?

Take a short video/take a picture and put it here, because it could be lots of things. On the bottom of the screen does it give an error code?

Take a short video/take a picture and put it here, because it could be lots of things. On the bottom of the screen does it give an error code?

HDD could be Faulty or Corrupted, Do you know if he had installed any homebrew on the console before giving it back?

I'm not sure, I think he might have installed XeX Menu.

Do you have a transfer cable or another retail console?
