Yes it is dying down, but it doesn't matter, we all know everyone will Smash the new CoD up till Christmas, then it will be boring again.

I remember being 11 years old and playing mw2 when it first came out, I played that game for years. 2010 - a no scope across the map would get you famous on YouTube then it went crazy. Mw2 was the best call of duty community wise and I have never enjoyed cod since. Miss the feeling of mw2

Call of Duty died with Ghosts, lots of people still have a bad taste in their mouth from it. If Advanced Warfare isn't an amazing CoD (which it doesn't seem like from the gameplay), then CoD will stay dead. CoD as a series has been going downhill since MW3, and it just kept getting worse, until Ghosts came out -- which 75% of the CoD community hated.

Honestly, I don't think the series is dying at all. Every year we complain about how the game is worse than the previous but somehow they keep selling more and more copies of the game meaning people are still buying it. It doesn't matter how many people continue playing the game after they have purchased it because all of that money has already gone to Activision's pocket.

Second thing, the games honestly are not that bad. If you really think about it. What exactly makes these Call of Duty games bad? I guarantee every one of you thought about something someone else does in the game that annoys you (for example: C4 and Riot Shield annoys the living hell out of me). But C4 nor the Riot Shield is broken and makes the game unplayable, the way the community uses them makes them annoying. It's the community that is ruining the games each year, not the developer.

You guys can take this however you want but it's just what I believe. I personally do not play Call of Duty anymore because of the community's immaturity and I've moved on to PC gaming where there are more adults. Console gaming has too many kids that had their parents buy them their Xbox/Playstation.
