Are you really trying to say Destiny is as fun as PS2 games were? Not a chance! Games on the PS2 were 100x more fun than games now. These days people can't play games for fun because they think they'll get somewhere in life by being competitive.

I understand destiny being repetitive because of the MMO elements, but it still gets really boring quickly in my opinion.

This game is not fun when I have to dedicate hours of no fun grinding to play. I'm sorry but I am an average gamer and person and I cannot dedicate 7 hours a day to gaming. Maybe 4 at the max if I have little work and AP homework.

Sorry but have you ever played a MMORPG? <-- Most are just killing pretty much but what was you expecting when you bought a "MMO" <-- These tend to be a bit grindy.

Let me give some education points for you. An MMO is a Massively Multiplayer Online game. MMORPG Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game. The term "Massively" usually means MANY. 12 players supported at one time IS NOT MASSIVE. They lied to everyone saying it was an MMO. It is in no way an MMO, it has 1 Hub city, you rarely run into anyother players there, and when you do, you cannot interact with them. There are static NPC's in the HUB, big whoop. MMO, Make Money Operation.

Also, I should not have to grind like crazy in a game like this. I should be able to take on monsters 1 to 2 levels above me, but I can't. Reminding me of the times I had with Borderlands 1, except I was having fun grinding in BL1, I don't have fun when I constantly get my ass kicked in Destiny. Also when players die, they usually leave, meaning I have to finish the level on my own which is not fun and hard.

Destiny was a kick in the shins, it was in no way original, and the hype was what sold the game. Where did the $500 Million go? What's sad is whatever they spent it on, they got back in sales on the first day because of the advertising.

These are my opinions, and I have the right to stand by it. You may love the game, and I respect what you think, but please respect what I said. Thank you.

I haven't played the game yet, I was stating that mmorpgs tend to be grindy / killing similar things. Tho the MMO part isn't really a mmo because as you said you barely meet anybody, but as I said Mmorpgs tend to be grindy even if it's not like a mmorpg they classed it as a mmorpg.

Played it a few days ago, I don't know what all the hype is about.

If someone wants to call a game a 0/10, I would venture to say that's their opinion and not fact. I don't think it makes sense to mindlessly judge something based off of assumptions, but I do respect other people's opinions.

To people calling it repetitive:

HUR DUR, its an MMO for gods sake.
ALL MMOS ARE REPETITVE.
Its all about getting high up stats. Not the campaign.
All MMO's get boring, take Runescape.
