That's incorrect. Providing it does work, the official release time is 12:01 PDT and 3:01 EDT which is 7:01 GMT.
No UK are 5 hours ahead, it is released moment it turns 12.01 anywere in US
I am not sure this is true, I think once it is 12:01 am pacific it is released which is 3:01 am eastern time

Yes you are meant to be able to play it from 8:01 UK time.
