Finally have a reason to pick up a 3DS, although I wish there was more content (trailers, gameplay) on YouTube. Waiting sucks.

There will be a shiny Gengar event holding Gengarite, lvl 25 with the moves Sludge Wave, Shadow Ball, Astonish and Confuse Ray.

In the USA you can pick it up from Gamestop between the 13th and the 26th October.

And in Europe you can pick it up from Game between the 15th October and 5th November.



There will be a Diancie, movie tie-in event which will be holding a normal gem just like the Japanese event.

You can pick it up from October 26th-November 6th in the USA from participating Gamestop stores.

And in Europe it is available from Game stores between November 6th-28th.

When this Diancie is traded to Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire it will activate an event to obtain the Diancite item.

The Pokmon Omega Ruby And Alpha Sapphire demo download will be made available on Oct. 15. For Europeans, that is. The North America and Japanese Pokmon ORAS demo has yet to be announced. As told by Serebii, Pokmon fans will be able to obtain a code from various local game stores (see below) to obtain a portion of the game early. We imagine the Pokmon ORAS demo won't simply be accessible in the Nintendo eShop as a way to get buyers into stores to preorder the game.

While some stores require that you physically enter the store for the Pokmon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire demo, select stores in the UK will be sending out codes through its internal database. Amazon, Smyths Toys, ShopTo and Nintendo UK's Official Store will remove the leg work for their fans. Though we have a feeling many North American and Japanese Pokmon players wouldn't mind having to actually go their nearest game store if it meant an earlier demo. No pain no gain.
