Hiya,
so i have added the files that are for the menu and have added the TU8 patch to the root of the MW2 folder. Whenever I launch the game I get a disk unreadable error. I don't know how to fix this and or what I am doing wrong. Help would be greatly appreicated, thanks.

Are you sure thats the correct patch for your XEX.
Also check your cache to see if you have another Mw2 TU 8 in there.

Did what you said. I didn't see anything missing. I still need help. I can boot up mw2 (from fsd3) and get to mp if I move quick but it will usually give disc unreadable before I can even get to starting a system link game.

Try clearing your cache.
Delete mw2 game and then re copying it.
Download the tu 8 from FSD.
Add your Ikonroi V5 files again.

I did all of that, and it still won't run
I can still if lucky get it to start a game but will go disc unreadable before game starts.

you only have to place the .menu file from the patch in the MW2 folder.

I get that when I don't move over patch_mp.ff file over from tu 8 files. Also you can't just download tu8 from fsd you need the dlc 1 and dlc 2 files in order for the mods to work properly.
