Cheapest (yet the most worthless piece of :idea: out there) Is the Xenon. The best for your value is the Falcon RGH1 you can pick one up for about 140-160 in a package. (if you can find them) They go in order yet they get more expensive obviously.

Hence there is no jtag for a beginner.

If you want an expensive but better running i suggest Falcon/Jasper would get a Jasper but Falcon is a little cheaper.

Both run the same and tend to never get RROD and are the best to play for long periods of time with no worries.

Probably a falcon. Around 120-145$ but you probably need cables to so probably 25 more than that.

I dont recommend xenons because the average jtag user(not saying this is right) uses a jtag to go online and play with friends for as long as they can before getting banned. Xenons tend to overheat and get rrod. All systems can get it but the more expensive the less prone to rrod.

Also it depends on who you buy it from. I recommend 5k mods just because the price is really good but you may have to wait longer. Rodentmodz is really good to and fast shipping but its all up to you.

Just buy the best one Trinity, my first JTAG was a Xenon and in 2 months a got 3 red ring a have now a Trinity for about 2 year and perfect console is a RGH is the same than a JTAG look it up on GOOGLE

There is no such thing as a beginner jtag, They are all the same. Dont get one if you don't know a lot about tech and computers.

Go with Jasper for Offline modding
or Falcon for both
