When I copy discs from XeX Menu, FSD or Neighborhood, They copy the files as if the drive is a CD-ROM drive, not DVD drive and only give me the same 4 files each time: $SystemUpdate, AUDIO_TS, VIDEO_TS and default.XEX. My KV has the original dvd key. I have my original NAND and KV flashed to it aswell.
Help?? +Rep

Try putting your game in the dvd tray. Turn off RGH/JTAG. Then boot up and download using freestyle dash

Tried everything like that. It is a problem with the disc drive reading as if it is a CD.

Does it play the game correctly if you try and run it?

No, at the dashboard it just says "Play Game" instead of the game image and it will just black screen.

This is a weird error, never seen it before. I don't think it's an issue with the DVD key since it seems to recognize that there is a game in the tray and I don't think it's an issue with the diode since it can rip those 4 files... Maybe try to run those video files it ripped on a computer? If they run correctly I doubt it's an issue with the diode but if they are corrupt that would be my guess as to the problem.

Again just sort of guessing right now, maybe someone else with a better idea of what's going on can comment.

The video files are the ones that run if you put the disc in a non xbox drive, telling you to put the game in an xbox 360. My dvd drive thinks the games are cds :/
