I have debated this a lot. I have a spare 30 and I don't know whether to open packs and try my luck or just straight up buy coins.
I have thought of pro's and cons and here are the main ones:

If I open packs I will get consumables and a chance at a lot more coins,
but I could very easily pack no one and waste my money.

If I buy coins there is no risk. I get my coins and move one, obviously I wouldn't get the benefit of consumables but it is guaranteed.

Also with coins there is the risk of being banned.

Fifa points mate, the price of coins is quite high and yo could get lucky in your packs

Buy FIFA points because EA are strict on coin selling now. Don't take the chance of getting your account banned.

I would buy coins because you could buy packs and get nothing
