I have an iPhone 4S that is on ios 7.1.2 Pangu jailbreak. I've had it for about 4 or 5 months and everything has been going smoothly and I loved it. Until today, I was in school and my battery was low so I plugged it in, after about a minute or two it just restarted by itself, so I thought it was going into safe mode or something, but it didn't. It keeps doing this no matter what I do, I even tried putting it in safe mode manually with an app and it still keeps crashing, which I have no clue why. I haven't installed anything lately on cydia, if you could help me with this, I promise I will give you $10 PayPal. Thanks

Try holding the home and lock button down at the same time until your device restarts, if it doesnt work then I have no clue. If it does work, don't worry about paying because I have no paypal account haha

Hm, I'd say it just screwed itself up somehow with an internal problem. I'm not a genius with this stuff but I'd say just restore your device to a previous backup.

Ok do you know if there is a way to do that without a computer? Mine broke and I only have an iPad for now

This happened when I jailbroke my friends iPhone 4 just like a week ago. Just either block the front facing camera/sensor and wait till it starts up or make sure that there is lots of light in the room you're in.
(The first one worked for me the first time.)

what did you do right before this started happening.

Boot the phone up and hold Volume up (the + button)

this will disable Cydia Substrate. It is usually used as a last resort for when you can't get away from the boot logo and holding Sleep and Home to reboot doesn't help.
