Okay so I updated my dash to the newest one and updated my XBLHammer files, but when I turn on my xbox it freezes on the xbox logo. I noticed my avatar is greyed out and I went and downloaded it from xbox.com and put it on my usb and put it to my console, but that isnt working. It doesnt ask me the avatar update.

If you're for sure on the latest dash and you're online, just do the avatar update through your xbox normally.

boot up then push eject button go to xex menu and wait it should pop up

lol, whoever told you that is lying.
I've been on XBLSE since last week and I haven't been banned at all, trust me, this is the same XBLSE they aren't stealing KVs, make sure to download the file from their website not from anyone else.
Edit: Just got on and my KV just got banned, well, 1 week lasted good, haha.
