With the current name releases - a LOT of names have been released. Unfortunately, you need 1,000 of a total level + a membership to snag one.

This also applies for new accounts, sadly. If you make an account and you choose "Tristan", for example, and it shows that it's available, you still don't have access to it.

If you're going to want that name specifically, you'll have to create the account, pay for its membership, buy a bond and then change it to "Tristan".

TL;DR Version: You'll be able to create an account if you choose a name that isn't newly released.

Give it a couple hours. Depending on what time of day you log in, it will be busy and hard to make an account.
