What form factor is your case? ATX, Micro ATX, or Mini ITX?

My case is the Corsair 450D Windowed Mid-Tower ATX !

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] this is the best motherboard I found for good price to performance ratio.

Wrong socket? i5 4690k is 1150 and that board is 1155?

I assume you will be overclocking as you got the K version, what is your budget and currency and do you have a cooler?

The processor is incompatible and plainly will not fit. OP you can use any of LGA1150's chipsets depending on the features you want, but as you want the K seris i5 I assume you want overclocking. So Z97 is the only one that officially supports that.

Sorry for the late reply. And sorry for invalid info. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] [Here is a good motherboard for price to performance ratio.

It's a waste to get a non-Z97 board with K CPUs.

OP, there are a bunch of good options, but which you should get depends on what your overclocking goals are, your cooler, cards, budget, etc.

Z97 chipset is what you're looking for. Although, Z87 chipset boards should work with a simple BIOS update.
