NOTE* Please read the whole thread if you are going to post, this is an issue that genuinely makes me MAD BROOOO so I have tried my best to describe it as best as I can, so there will be alot to read.

Also please understand:

I'm NOT saying people outside the UK have bad connections.
I AM saying that the BO2 servers simply cannot adequately handle matchmaking players from multiple regions as it will most definitely put the players who live furthest from the host at a disadvantage regardless of how good the players connections are. :2thumbsup:

(For Example: I'm on 100MB/s download, it's currently the fastest available in my area and if I get for example a French or German host it's very likely that I will suffer poor connection which ultimately results in BS deaths.)

Hello and welcome to my rant, I realize BO2 is an "old game" to some of you; however it remains the first choice Call Of Duty to many people after COD:Ghosts flopped.

I also realize that BO2 has had connection issues from day one, but I am convinced this is different. I say this because the 'connection issues' from day one may have been annoying but it was nowhere near as frequent or as bad as it is today - Overall a few months back I am fairly certain this issue wasn't as big as it is now.

I will divide this rant into two sections

SECTION #1 - Solo Play - SECTION #2 - Team Play

SECTION #1 - Solo Play

Today is the day I give up playing BO2 solo, I will now play only with friends from the same region. I have come to the conclusion that core game modes on BO2 is for the most part unplayable during un-sociable hours playing solo.

(For example: Solo play is usually fine for me during the afternoon/early evening, outside these hours it is a nightmare to get consecutive stable lobbies.)

Solo Play example

- Around 1/20 lobbies I get thrown into is a lag lobby (cheers for the free loss! Not playing that lol.)

- Most non UK connections that pull host absolutely melt me with any gun, opposed to me putting twice as much bullets in and still loosing the gun fight. (Like WTF really? *watches killcam and he/she is miraculously only half red*)

My experience: I can back this up by experience, there has been many occasions where I have went absolutely ham in a solo noob lobby and have 2 or 3 times the score of the second MVP on the leaderboard. Then the game ends, nobody leaves; lobby starts back up again with the same group of players. I may/may not finish as MVP the next game, but that's not the point. The point is my after match result was so much worse due to the example directly above this paragraph.

SECTION #2 - Team Play

Although I give up playing solo, I'm not going to give up playing with friends as the connection issue is not a common problem when you have other players from the same region on your team.

Team play still annoys me though. Not so much on pubs, that I don't care much for. But when it's league play, I most definitely care.

My experience: I can recall 101 scenarios from the top of my head that I could use here. I will use this French team we have come up against several times as an example. I would say we have played them around 15 times, not being big headed when I say this, but they are bad players. They don't make any plays and all they do is sit in random corners with an MK48 dual band suppressor for example. We have beat them on every occasion except twice, both occasions the party on my team was going MAD at the ridiculous deaths we where all experiencing. I'm 100% sure if someone else got host on those 2 occasions it would have been a very different story.

Rant over, I apologize for the layout/coloring of this thread if it's an eye-sore, it's 3AM and I cannot be arsed typing/editing anymore; time for bed I think. hh)
