So basically i've been running dual monitors now for quite some time using my Samsung S22C150 monitor and also a Samsung TV (also a monitor).

The S22C150 was connected via a VGA cable into a VGA to DVI adapter then into my GFX card.

The TV monitor was connected via a HDMI cable into my GFX Card.

This all worked fine.

This is the problem.

I brought a second S22C150 as the TV wasn't giving me the full display and this needs to be connected through a VGA to DVI cable (which I have tried).

My PC doesn't 'detect' the second monitor.

Any help?

First off have you tried running that new monitor on its own to make sure it's working correctly?

Yes, I have tried each monitor and each cable..

..Both are working fine!

I'm not to certain of the issue then, have you clicked Detect on the resolution and monitor window?

Check in the box your monitor came in, some monitors come with Driver disks. If so then install it. But not all monitors have drivers. You could also look for your model monitor on the samsung website and look for a driver.

By the sounds of it, it is a software issue.

Maybe the GPU driver might need updating too.

I have updated my GPU Driver just now and that did nothing?

And I have the same monitor as before.. Will it still need another driver or?

Just by looking at the review, id say get a new adapter, they dont cost much.

Thats what i thought but he said

op: Is the Adapter working fine now?
