so i added the xex file in the plugin but the menu still wont come up

No I mean did you save the plugin on dashlaunch when you put it on?

yeah i went to dashlaunch put it as a plugin, saved it to my hdd and restarted it

Then it could be your launch.ini. Look at your launch.ini and look at your plugins if its not on there put it on, Replace it with the other reboot and try opening menu again

im using it offline right now until i get a kv, and do i need to install my gta 5 to use the menu?
