So i am at college now and playing Xbox games like call of duty is a bit of a problem now due to lag i get while playing. Would having my own router reduce lag or will that not do anything? Im not a computer guy/Tech Savy but i was just wondering before i went to buy a router.

Well if you live on a college campus, I dont think that would do anything. You might just want to look into wiring in if you aren't already.

Depends on if the college lets you get a router of your own. I wouldn't see the harm in it but sounds good

It will help very little. It will just make it not go out as much. The signal is still coming from the original source, it's not like it's your own wifi. It won't be a significant difference.

Yeah man
Wireless routers tend to Lag and disconnect Due to common things like open doors, microwaves,Internet Sharing, and Walking
Ethernet cables can be plugged into your Xbox and prevent lag

Even getting a router and plugging an ethernet cord straight into the Xbox won't help either.
