Why is insurance so expensive for imports? It's 2,500 for a r33 at 28, and 1,890 for a BMW with a supra swap at 25?? Really want a r33 but can't run it...

Be lucky for that seriously. I'm coming up to 17 getting my first car and the cheapest quote I can get is 2900 for a 1.0 Volkswagen Lupo.
The UK is ridiculous with insurance prices, no need for how expensive it is!

That's because you're classed as a "risk". It's also dependant on the area of the country you live in, some result in higher/lower prices than others.
I pay 600 for a brand new 64 plate Golf GTD and I'm only 19, been driving 2 years. As soon as you get a years no claims bonus, you'll see prices drop a lot.

Ik man? Haha I'm only 15, been looking at car insurance and it's so stupid, I mean I have a big passion for cars and I can't do it coz of the insurance.. I'm 17 next year haha good thing is after a year it drops I think dunno buddy haha
