If you want to spin tires and have more power, re gear your driving differential (if rwd, then back diff, if fwd, then front diff.
I ran 35's on 3:55 gear ratio, I still had the power I needed for my truck, then I went to 4:56 yukon gears, I can spin tires any where on any surface, take off power is amazing (for a truck).

Have your revs up a little bit and then release the clutch, don't have the revs high otherwise you'll just wheel spin and lose power

So, handbrake off, get my revs too about 2-3k, release the clutch and slam the accelerator and get ready to shift too second?
