I wanted to build a PC for under 1000$. I know it doesn't have the best card but what are your thoughts on this. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Well, a full sized case is pointless and a waste of money. You're going to want a CPU cooler if you plan on overclocking the 4690k. You can get a 256GB MX100 SSD for the same price as that M500. The MX100 is better, than the M500..! You can spend $20 less on a 1TB HDD. I feel like it's not great and could be upgraded, but I'm not sure if you want any edited versions of your build?

Are you stubborn and satisfied with what you have, or will you accept anything we could put together that would be better?

If you feel like you can build me something better for around the same price I would definitely like to see it.

Undeniably a lot better for a little over your budget;

There were some 1TB HDD's for $36 or so but they must have been on sale and be gone now. If you're going to overclock that 4690k, you're going to want to invest in an aftermarket CPU cooler.

Depends on how much you're willing to spend on one.

For $70, something like this would be good;

Well, it's $95, but $70 after a $25 rebate, so definitely worth it.
