As the title states my pc has a wireless adapter and a ethernet cable connected to my Rgh and I get a weird ip ist 169.254.106.179 and all my ip's on my router start with 192.168.x.x so if someone could help that would be great thanks

what are you really asking for is the question. Are you trying to set a vpn or something?

I have an Ethernet cable going from my router to a switch modem which outputs several Ethernet cables to my PC and xboxes.

look at the attached devices on your router and see if you find your rgh. you would have to look for your xbox's mac address.

Go to the network settings on your computer.
You'll see "wireless netowrk" and "local area connection" bridge the two connections and a new one will pop up saying "network bridge". After that, you should get the same ip on your rgh as the computer.
