I don't hate people that do this at all.

The only thing I would say is, Why not work YouTube around what else you have to prevail in life.

School
You get a future job: you make money: have a nice home: all that is worth a life time

You get a future job, work a 9-5 for 45 years then die.

"Life's short, enjoy it."

Yea because that sounds fun.

This is what I think.

School - Boring, rather pointless, lose your individuality, make you think alike, teaches you to obey authority, punishes you if you question it. Sure it'll get you a job, but you'll be doing that till you die.

Games - Strengthens your brain, builds your hand eye coordination, makes you think quicker, could get a job (playing or creating), fun, let's you use your imagination.

School does not give you a job. School gives you the skills needed for YOU to go and get a job.

I`m Skipping for AW and have a 95+ average.

Let people do what they do. People who go to college wind up on the streets and people from the Ghetto get millions.

The truth is there is no way to guarantee success in life.

Many of you are misguided. Video games are meant for fun and enjoyment. You don`t have to do youtube to play a game. YouTube and gaming are two different hobby's. Anyone who plays video games JUST to try and make money from YouTube are the true time wasters.

Sanctyy wrote Lol, okay. Going to school doesn't promise you a "future job: you make money: have a nice home: all that is worth a life time".

In fact, if anything, going to school just means you'll probably go to college/university after school and waste another 4 or so years at education. Then after that, you're not promised a job. Most people who go to college or university, when they finish, find out that in fact, there aren't many jobs. So, yeah. Plus, missing a single day of school isn't going to do any harm, why is that any of your business anyway?

I'm skipping one day in late November for Pokemon Omega/Alpha (lol I'm a nerd). But we're making an event out of it, going to the midnight release, staying up playing it, staying at a friend's etc.

When you really think about how much down time you get in school, one day is nothing. One day worth of school can easily be completed in 1-2 hours if you actually put forth the effort. If you cannot manage to keep up with what is expected of you when missing only one day, then yeah, skipping would be a bad choice.

One problem, school doesn't promise you a job. You could go to school, rack up tens of thousands of dollars in debt, and still not get employed in your field of choice. There are a lot of arts majors working at Starbucks right now.

Anyways, if people want to spend time playing video games instead of going to school, it is their choice. Arguably, it's the people who don't go the route of traditional schooling that are most successful anyways.

Why are you worrying about other people, just worry about yourself.
