Is there really any need for you to go with 2 way SLI? If we knew what case you had, that would help as we may recommend an ATX sized mobo, but you might have an mATX case. Also, what PSU do you have? Just because you already have a PSU, doesn't mean you should keep it. If it's a bad quality PSU, it would be worth swapping out for something better. It's also going to be worth upgrading PSU if your current unit is aging, or even if it's not fully modular, you might want better cable management for aesthetics and airflow so swapping to a fully modular PSU could be beneficial.

well buget is 400 for the m/and cpu, and my case supports my 980's with plenty of room, its unbranded but could support 4 cards, just need a m/b and cpu but would prefer intel, i do more multicore operations instead of single core

Like I said, we'll need your full specs and budget. Is £400 how much you're spending in total? Dual 980's will most likely be a waste for you and the money could be better spent elsewhere. You'll want to invest in an aftermarket CPU cooler when, and if you decide to overclock. If you aren't going to overclock, save a little money by getting the 4790(non K version) and a B85 chipset motherboard.
