I've honestly been addicted to working these temp jobs and it's pretty much messed up my resume. They pay good but they rarely ever hire on permanently. Anyone else work temp jobs before?

I used to when I was looking for full time work.

I didnt think it mattered until I was starting to hire people myself.

Other managers I spoke to would question why so many jobs, I would mention temp work rarely takes on permanent and they would ask why were they not taken on permanent.

Its a hard time when temp work is all there is, but try applying outside of agencies. Companies are more likely to take on full time, agencies recycle people to keep money rolling in.

I worked temp jobs for a staffing agency for 2 years straight, I finally got a perm job offer pending a BG check, but you're right it became really embarrassing to have to explain why none of these temp assignments hired me permanently. I told them the short story that it was a temp only no perm offer.

Realistically, I worked hard in my temp assignments in a field of maybe 5-7 temps. The manager would always choose the person he liked the most and 90% he picked girls that were definitely not the best of the group.

You aren't exactly obligated to mention ALL of your jobs on a resume.
If I were you, I'd only mention the longest term temp jobs you've had along with ones that are relevant to the current position you're applying for.

This is true, I don't mention some jobs that I was fired from, however for the last two years I just put down my staffing agency name on my resume then highlighted the positions that I worked. I did that instead of listing the four job assignments that spread out for those two years. Made it look much nicer and condensed.
