Devkit sidecars come in different colors such as white, grey, black (depending on the version). So this would be an option for devkits only. It would be no use to anyone except devs.
So test kits, stress kits, and dev kits come in different colors? Of course they do. It depends on the motherboard, not the type of kit. Kits in different colors mean nothing.
