It took me forever to get one on my main character but for my second character I got on at level 21

wow that's the best explanation I've read for it. I got my 3rd exotic bounty at 25 and I'm still working on the last one I haven't really tried to complete it. To me the thorn sucked and the shotgun I forget the name is really good. But I think you shouldn't wait for a bounty play the raid or try to get lucky in crucible.

You don't need to turn in all 5 to get one, I got mine after turning in a single bounty. The only reason people say you have a "better" chance is because, statistically -- you do. Obviously you'll have a higher chance of getting a bounty turning in 5 at once than turning in one, but it's not like turning in 5 is a requisite and you won't get one without doing it like that. This entire game is based around luck, so as long as you keep at it, you're bound to get one eventually.


I'm level 28 on my main and have played since day one, and I only just got my first exotic bounty two days ago, so yeah. :whatthat:
