I have just seen that a group of people have threatened to shoot up a university in Utah because Sarkeesian was due to appear at a lecture or something like that there. Other threats have included bomb threats and such.
I am really god-damn sick of these morons doing this, while I disagree with some of the points she makes, not here looking for an argument or anything like that, I don't think she should be treated like this, being constantly harassed and threatened just isn't right. If you disagree with her and the things she stands for then you don't have to listen to her, instead of hating her and actively trying to ruin her life just because you have a different opinion, just ignore her.
Rant over, this really pissed me off.

It's actually very likely that she creates accounts and sends death threats to herself.
Why? To gain attention and bring 'awareness' to feminism.
This is a screencap that Anita herself posted showing a death threat that she received with some editing done to show how it's quite obviously her on another account.
She asked for more donations less than 24 hours after she apparently contacted the police and had to leave her home, which caused a huge media fuss and gained her lots of attention, when she had over $160,000 from her kickstarter project for the FemFreq videos which was 25x more than she needed to do the project in the first place.
At the time she did this, she had only made around 5 or 6 of the videos which was about half of what she intended to do.
So where did all of this other money go so quickly that she needed even more donations?
Jack Thompson got death threats because of his views on video games, just like she has, but there was no outrage then.
Anita needs to wise up, no game critic has ever been murdered by a gamer. It has not happened, and she's acting like it's a likely occurrence when, in all honesty, she's probably the one threatening herself.

I read some of her tweets and she's pinning the blame of the cancelation on guns.
Both open carry and concealed carry is legal in Utah, so legally the police cannot do firearm searches.
Anita said she had to cancel because the police weren't taking steps to prevent people with concealed firearms from entering the event.
