Hey guys. I made these images a while back, but just now really deciding to post them for feedback. The avatars I made were for a couple friends of mine along with myself(which needs work), and the signature I made tonight. The signature was just a rough draft, that only took me about 15 minutes to make. I'll be doing more work with it later on, but would still like some feedback on my progress. Thanks guys.
P.S. please no flaming, for I am just a beginner
Avatars (i have blown them up so you guys can see them a little better):
Signature:
Some other things I've made (The one named "Alexander" I had help from a tutorial video and do not take 'full' credit):
Just something funny I decided to edit:
Thank you for your time guys and feel free to post any feedback/comments. Stay cool guys

This one was made for a friend of mine that plays Wizard101. The character in the picture is his actual in-game character.

This was just a test, and the font throws this off. But the goal was the rainbow smoke which was a pain to do.

You could use a bit of work. But besides that great job. Keep doing Graphics designing you could become amazing at it.

If your just beginning your doing pretty good, look up some tutorials and more things with C4D for example on YouTube so you can advance a little bit more!

Id say keep away from the generic rainbow smoke.
Also don't use bevel on the text like that.. It's such a common beginner mistake.
It looks horrible. There's a way to make it look good, very subtly, but not like that.
The first few avatars are very low quality too, even knowing you enlarged them.
Are you saving as a JPG? Because you should save as a PNG-24 for best quality.
Keep away from photoshop's lens flares too, they're uglyyy.

For being a beginner they are pretty good, I would say that the first 2 avatars are pretty pixalated but other than that they aren't bad. Everything you are experimenting with, is what I started with, your on the right track.
