Does anyone know why it Is offline or how long it will be offline because it's very frustrating. I can't join party's or even see my friends list. I'll rep for answers

Yeah, I'm noticing that too.
But I was still able to buy $20 PSN, and purchase something.
PSN stated this on their status page:
