I started playing Halo 4 today because i have not played it in months and right when I got to the main menu i got 9 achievements for 250 gs.. WTF!!!! They all involved the castle map pack multiplayer. I did not mod them so what the heck happened? Has this happened to anyone else? What could be the cause of this, maybe a reward for something?

I got 16 for 450 GS when i started it up. The cause is because for over a year most of the multiplayer achievements were glitched. They weren't obtainable and finally 343i fixed them. What i have heard is that if you did the criteria for the achievements at any time before the fix, you would unlock them as soon as you loaded up the game. The thing about that though, is that i got some i know i never did do, so im not totally sure on what cause's you to get what achievements since everybody gets a different amount.

^that is weird because I dont remember doing any of them, but i guess free achievements are nice. At least im not the only one that encountered this.

Is that so? I may load up Halo 4 just to see how many I will get, I know I was supposed to get the one for completing 25 challenges and I have completed over a hundred before I stopped playing, last achievement from the original game, wonder how many I would get from the DLC achievements
