How do you record/put clips on youtube with a PVR
and does a HDPVR works on old tv (not hd)
and does it upload when you record (does it take internet connection? )

there is a disc you get with the pvr, it has the recording program on it.

yes it works on an component tv.

you have to upload it manually when you upload it, it takes connection.

My advice to you is do not buy one unless you have the money to waste.

But to answer your question, to record in HD you need a HDTV, otherwise it will just be SD
The HDPVR comes with its own software so you can save the videos and put them on youtube and whatnot.

Internet connection is not required to record BUT it is required to upload your footage to YouTube

HDPVR's technically don't work on non HD televisions. Even if you get a splitter will NOT be HD, but SD.
