Jeremy Kyle 'super sperm' guest who murdered granny for cash for McDonald's jailed for 33 years

Liam Naylor - who described himself as having 'super sperm' when he appeared on the TV show - must serve at least 33 years for stabbing Dorothy Walker to death
A thug who strangled, beat and stabbed a frail grandmother more than 40 times before using her pension cash to take his pals to McDonald's has been jailed for life.

Dad-of-three Liam Naylor, 23, who described himself as having 'super sperm' when he made an appearance on the Jeremy Kyle TV show left the blade embedded in Dorothy Walker's neck.

He murdered the 75 year-old at her home in Barnsley, South Yorks, on April 4, in order to steal her 104 pension money in what was described as a "savage, brutal and sustained attack" at her home.

Despite claiming he acted in self defence and that the 5ft 3in-tall grandma - known as Dotty - threatened him with a knife after discovering he had stolen her money, it took a jury at Sheffield Crown Court just two hours to unanimously find him guilty of murder yesterday.

Absolutely disgusting, generally made me angry when I read it.

33 years that it? I really don't understand the justice system sometimes. If you kill someone you shouldn't be allowed back out.

"I did it in self defence!"
"Did what?"
"Stabbed her 40 times, cut her throat, sliced through a spinal bone, broke her nose and twisted her arm until it snapped..."

He's either a cold blooded killer or a moron who couldn't restrain a granny.
33 years isn't long enough.

The reality is: he will only serve 16 and a half years on good behaviour, then he'll be out. He'll only be 39-40 when he's released.

Disgusting act and disgustingly lenient sentence. A murder like this should be life, no parole.

Can we not just put a bullet through his head or put a rope around his neck? Why do we have to pay for him to live for the next 33 years...Oh yeah, human rights.

You say 'Human rights' like they're some set of trivial things which don't matter.
Usually when you structure a sentence like that you're supposed to put some small, insignificant reason at the end.

The way I look at it, you kill him and his problems are over.
But if you put him in a prison where every day is filled with paranoia and a lack of everything which drives him as a person, that's a far worse punishment.

Put him in prison and he gets a bed, shelter, food...And we pay for it, yup such a horrible punishment, but for who exactly. Its almost like saying, "Want this dangerous guy off the streets, well send us a little bit of money here and there, and we will take him away for you." -Mafia Government 101.

Ok, How about I add a little reason to the human rights comment.

How about, we scrap them for people who have been in prison and for those who are in prison. They've thrown away their rights by infringing someone else's.

The prison comment depends on the prison. I agree though, if it was a perfect system which served true justice he would be put in a dirty hole in the ground for 33 years and would survive on the worms he could pull from the mud, prison is closer to that than killing him, so I think prison is a better punishment.

The human rights comment depends on what they are in prison for, but also if they've been reformed by their time in prison.
After all, that is what prison is there for, as punishment, but also as rehabilitation.
Compensation also has to be taken into account.

In the case of a murder I think the decision between life in prison and a bullet to the head should be left to the victims family.
They are the only ones who can decide which is the correct form of compensation, in my opinion.

It is a flawed justice system though, I don't deny that.

And this is why the law is absolutely crap in our Country.

He should get life to death for what he did.
