So this person sent me money and said the transaction was complete but on my side i didnt get any money or any type transaction notification. So am i missing something? it says my account is 80% complete because i didnt link my banking account but would that affect receiving money at all?

please help

Your account being "80% complete" has nothing to do with the transaction.
If it's been more than 10 minutes and you still haven't received the money he claimed to have sent you, I suggest asking for proof of this payment he is claiming to have sent you.

He is probably messing with you, trying to scam you. Ask for proof of payment if you haven't received it in the next minute or so, its usually instant.

he might of claimed it back before you could see that he has sent you it

He state the transaction has been complete. Check which currency he sent you it in and then add the currency to your list.

It all depends on location and his Bank Account dude.

Also if the payer sent it as Goods & Services then that
can also be the reason why you haven't received it yet.
