Ok so I am planning on upgrading my RAM and I was wondering which would be the better choice. Would the 1866 really be that much faster than the 1600? And would it be worth the price difference?

Any feedback would be great. Thanks.

You wont notice the difference between 1600Mhz or 1866mhz ram in the real world...Unless your benching.

What RAM have you got now. You might not even need to upgrade.

Also, fix the links.

if speed is getting you down, try a small overclock on the RAM itself.. after a lot of research.

You will have to see if your motherboard supports the RAM module you want to use. If you want help, just post your full specs and we will tell you.

But as said before you won't really tell the difference.

Overclocking RAM is easy as long as the motherboard supports it...

Mine is rated at 1333MHz but has XMP profiles. So i currently run the single 8GB module at 2133MHz without changing anything other than the clock speeds.

The links work fine for me but that's because I'm on my phone and they are for the mobile version of newegg. I currently have 2 4gb sticks of ram and my motherboard does support both kinds that I listed before. I just didn't know if the 1866 was noticably faster than the 1600.

No, 1866Mhz and 1600Mhz will feel the same like identical. It will just help a little in "some" tasks.

get the cheapest.
