Just because you have Security on your PC don't mean you can't get a Virus. There are ways to Crypt it and make it Undetectable. When you download a file that you think could be a Virus i would use [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . Don't open the file until you scan it on Virus Total.
I have seen a Rat added to a WinRar Archive and Norton not detect it.
Just only download things that are Trusted!
