Aoldier has been shot at a war memorial in Ottawa, Canada, prompting a lockdown of Parliament Hill as police try to locate the gunman. Further local reports have stated that shots were also fired inside the Parliament building.
Wingrove also reported seeing a motionless body inside the parliament building, which he could not confirm to be either dead or alive.
Some 30 shots were fired inside the building, an eyewitness told Reuters. The gunman was subsequently chased by police into the center block of the building.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper managed to exit the building safely.
Associated Press Television News journalist Jorge Barrera reported that police are in possession of a photograph of the gunman, who reportedly has dark skin and long black hair. Barrera also tweeted that police have the suspects cellphone.
There are reports that more than one assailant is active in the area. "There are multiple assailants," police reportedly told local columnist John Invision, adding "move back, they're targeting first responders."

Got the notification from CNN on my phone, hope everything is going to be okay. I guess this is the equivalent of someone busting into Congress and shooting.

from what ive heard it was because of the F-18's being sent out to deal with some of this ISIS stuff. Its sickening man. Theres camps all over canada and ones like 7 hours away from me.

APC's and Armed Infantry for a shooter, And I was criticizing the U.S during Sandy Hook for the amount of armaments they brought. I have relatives close to Parliament Hillhope everything ends well.

My question is where the hell were the armed guards at all sides of the building?
If you've ever been there outside on all entrances there are grauds with M4's with EOTech sights and in this video regular police took down the shooter.

This is all because Harper keeps putting his nose where is doesn't belong we need a new leader before this guy runs us into the ground.

The religion of peace strikes again. The argument we constantly hear, across the pond, is; once these people get financial security and a good education Jihadism will stop.
Yet every other week we have to read about privately educated Muslims running off to join ISIS and posing with severed heads on social media sites. At the minute, all this plan seems to be doing is creating well funded and super educated terrorists.
The statistics we keep getting from polls and surveys done in their areas seems to suggest things are actually getting worse, as far as the integration into a pluralist society goes. Each western generation, again I can only speak for the UK, seems to be becoming more and more intolerant.
I could fill up a few lines will links and statistics, but the evidence speaks for itself. Things are going to deteriorate a lot more, these things are going to become more frequent.
