Hiya,
I have a JTAG Xenon Xbox 360. Currently, the RF board will not sync controllers or show the ring of light when you boot. It did work when we first got the console but after letting it heat to get rid of rrod, it stopped working. We replaced it with an oem board and that did not work either. the console will still boot when the power button is pushed though.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Well the thing is, the ring of light worked fine before. We even bough a new board and still had problems.

Based on the fact that you tell me that you get no lights (error or otherwise) on either a stock MS ROL RF board or a color modded ROL RF board then I think there are two POSSIBILITIES you could be dealing with:

Again, these are just ideas of POSSIBLE solutions:

1) Maybe you actually have a "opus" motherboard and someone did the NON Xenon wiring type which requires soldering to one of the ROL pins on the underside of the motherboard and it's been F'd up and you should look there.

2) Nand image corruption, build a fresh nand in Jrunner using the "build image without nanddump.bin" option and use a fresh clean SMC file. You'll need to extract the files from the original nand, and use them to rebuild it. Google around for a "clean SMC pack" and use the SMC file from there rather than from your original nand.
