I currently have this build:

CPU: AMD FX-6300 Vishera 6-Core 3.5GHz
Mother Board: GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3P
PSU: Thermaltake SMART Series SP-750PCBUS 750W ATX 12V

will i be able to upgrade to the gtx 970 later down the road without bottlenecking?

Its quite hard to bottleneck nowa days...unless your running dual 770's and a pentium...

You should be fine though.

I would into getting a stronger PSU when you upgrade though
