This is correct

Squad rating = Average Player Rating + Overall Chemistry (of your best rated team)

I do have a half bronze bench and two unmade teams I take it that might be why?

If you want to too your friends leaderboards, but players like Huntelaar and Turan and put them in your bench - and your other squads have their own rating.

The leaderboard is called top squad so it is showing only the highest rated squad

allot of online players put bronze players on the bench so they get matched up against lower rated teams.. im 100% sure that is is the problem.
