You're leaving out the most crucial piece of information to that guesstimate, which is that it's for the West African countries only.

People like to fear monger with that statistic as if America is a third world country with third world country medical care.

I think its abit horrible how we wait for Ebola to come to like the US,UK and other countries but when it was 1976 we didn't give a damn about it! Maybe if we had done something 5-7 years back this wouldn't of happened.

Ebola is not just spread through contact of body fluids it's also spread through the air if your in close quaters with someone infected you have a chance of getting it and that's what they wernt telling you at first. And not only that ebola can survive on a hard surface for 8 hours so if someone sneezes on something and then you touch it without knowing your at risk now.

Ebola isn't airborne.
Yes, if someone sneezes in your face, while symptomatic, you are now at risk, but otherwise, no.

Yes ebola is air born. If you deny that then your saying germs dont travel through the air which would be false. If someone sneezes in the same room with you those germs are gonna travel through the air not very far but still they travel through the air. And they have even said ebola does through mutiple sources. Also an test was done between monkeys and pigs that were in seperate cages and had no physical contact and somehow the pigs still got the disease.. thus proving ebola is air born
