Labyrinth wrote For those atheists reading this, here's a nice thought, or a horrible one depending on how you look at it.

Given the possibility of multiple Universe's existing, and the possibility of there being an infinite amount of time for events to occur within these Universe's, it is probable that somewhere out there another Earth will form, and your body will come together in exactly the same way as it has this time, meaning that you will become conscious again. After all, there's no reason to think that your consciousness isn't directly connected to the arrangement of atoms in your brain and nervous system.
You might have even lived before, numerous times.

Alternatively, eternal nothingness doesn't sound too bad.

And how is that message aimed towards atheists, why not everyone?
lol implying the bible has any type of historical accuracy.

lol implying the only religions out there are Christianity and Judaism.
It was aimed at atheists because atheists are usually the ones who take the 'Nothing happens, you just die' route to answer this question.
People with religions should already have stout faith in their afterlife beliefs, so why would they be interested in a theory like that?

Lavish wrote What did it feel like the year before you were born? Nothing.
You simply don't exist anymore.

Yeah but when you were born/young do you remember anything? Not really.

So the question is will you know that you died?

AxG wrote You hear people with near death experiences say a lot of stories . I have heard that apparently you feel yourself float out your body and then you end up in a place that doesent feel human but it's meant to be really hard to explain. I have no idea aha. When I see seagulls I sometimes think we turn into them cause there is so many haha

These jerks usually occur before you enter the deeper stages of sleep and are completely normal. Doctors and scientists aren't really sure why they happen, but they have a few theories. One theory is that your brain misunderstands the sensation of your muscles relaxing as you drift off to sleep. It's normal for the muscles to relax, but the brain gets confused, and, for a minute, thinks you're falling. In response, the brain causes your muscles to tense up so you "catch yourself" before you fall down.

These jerks can wake a person up or the person might just keep on sleeping. They're nothing to worry about, so if one of them wakes you up, snuggle back under your quilt and try to catch some more ZZZs!

I would like to believe something close to reincarnation. You wouldn't be able to remember your past life since that brain with its memories have rotted away somewhere, that's the way I think about it anyway.
