Guys the cave farming method has been patched but a "new" method of farming on Earth has been found but it is not as good as the previous or any other method for that matter. I feel like it would be pointless to add to the topic especially since it is a bit hard to kill everything by yourself and the respawn time is about 10 seconds. If you guys want this method added I will add it but for now I feel it would be useless to add. You would be better off at another spot, doing strikes, or crucible.

The moon farm with the level 6 mission is patched, every time you respawn the engram drop rate is decreased. No point in even doing it.

The post has been updated. I have been busy focusing on a few other things like another topic I am working on. All the newest methods have been added but to be honest they are not that great and will be patched soon. After the next update I feel that most farming will become useless due to the strike loot changes and the changes to the Cryptarch. But I do understand that people will continue farming so I will keep this updated. The next thing being added will be updates to material and glimmer farming. Also the bounty section will be updated. Hopefully you understand why it was not updated. If you have any more engram farming methods not stated here and do not mind sharing them then please PM me

EDIT: I have added videos for the chest runs to gather materials. I feel that text tutorials are difficult to do for a lot of this and if you do not know the area you wouldn't understand so I added videos.

There is a farming method on Venus, it's located in the building where you go to in the first mission after activating the Sparrow. You'll see 1 Servitor, 2 Vandals, and 3 Dregs. This is an area with high drop rates and they spawn about every 4-6 seconds. Thought I'd share this with you to add to the thread.
